Every time I travel I love to portrait love because the photos show that it really is all around. It is easy to find.
The problem is that we take it for granted. We don’t appreciate how powerful it is. How important a decision can be. And how much it changes when is made with love.
This time I found a marriage of 55 years and 71 of friendship. I found a kiss among the crowd. I found two dogs wanting to hang out, maybe as much as their owner. Lots of long stories with probably lots of risks, ups and downs. Good and not good enough. But still part of their tale. I found two ducks fishing together. A generous friendship of a man and a dog. A letter to Giulietta, probably to lock the fear forever. Long walks at night. Coffee breaks. Wine tastings. Street dances. Park dates. Music dates. Friend dates. Shy faces. Surprised faces. Happy faces. Stolen kisses. Innocent kisses. True kisses.
All different from each other.
But in all of them I found love.
And this time, all of it was in Verona, IT.
Like in the movies
Millions of thousands of hundreds of daily love stories. Anonymous stories that talk about love letters that end with p.s I love you. Summer loves that end in wedding. Those that start with a walk to remember, or pervert singers who remind the world that love actually is all around. That kind of love that makes a house fly with balloons. All of them have something in common, the will to risk. Forgetting about the "no" to create a new course from a chance. Just like that, in its most unexpected way.
You don't have to understand it, just let it flow.
